Up at 6:00 to get ready for our big day!
First day of the Caminho.
Tina and Andre met us at our Airbnb for breakfast. Our plan was Uber to the parking garage by 8:00 when they opened, put all our luggage in the car for Andre, then off to the Se cathedral to begin our Camino with an official stamp in our Credential.
The reality was, we lingered over breakfast, we had to get two Ubers for 5 of us with luggage
We walked to the cathedral for our stamp and proceeded to have no idea where to start walking in circles for quite a while now. We found the Camino office and he directed us. Maybe we’ll be starting now. 10:40.

Following the river all the way to the ocean. Walking by myself some of the time that’s kind of peaceful and worth it
Jackets came off early on. Got hot
Stopping for lunch at Camelia. Had to use the men’s room.. Couldn’t wait but toilet paper roll was new and glued shut and kept moving out of reach as I tried clawing at it to get a piece!

First injury Tina heel blister. Always trying to be first in everything. Lambs wool from My friend, Patti. Take off the sock liners and have Joana lace up her shoe. Also adjust her backpack which wasn’t set up right for her height. We’ll have her good as new very soon.
Stopped for a beer on the ocean watching waves
Had to take off extra shirt layer in the bushes. Probably everybody could see why you
Followed all the paths along the beach through the sand . Very nice. Tina and Cynthia went up higher level sidewalk
We stayed on the beach the whole way till the very end up to the port. It was beautiful.
Tina came out wearing Andre’s clothes.. She took his suitcase instead of hers!
